여러분은 할로윈 때 뭐 하셨어요? 지난 주말에 할로윈 축제가 있었다는 사실을 알고 계셨나요? 모르셨나요? 아니면 알고 있었지만 별로 신경을 안 쓰셨나요? ^^

한국의 전통 문화는 아니지만 조금씩 점점 더 많은 사람들이 즐기고 있는 할로윈. 어떻게 생각하세요? 네 사람은 어떤 경험이 있는지 들어 보세요. 그리고 여러분의 경험에 대해서 들려 주세요.

Did you know that it was Halloween last weekend? Did you celebrate it? A lot of Korean people don't even know that it was Halloween last week, and don't really feel the need to care because it is a very recent phenomenon that people celebrate Halloween in Korea. So four of us talked about Halloween in Korea in this podcast, and we would love to hear your thoughts about it. Thank you for listening and subscribing!

I personally don't know what halloween is for. But I know that it is celebrated in the West. From my country, we don't usually celebrate Halloween. Filipinos celebrate All Saints' Day (Nov. 1) and All Souls' Day (Nov. 2) to pray for the departed souls. But due to western influences, we get to celebrate Halloween as well.

Since All Saints' Day is considered to be a national holiday in the Philippines. Families gather around the cemeteries and pray and kids sometimes do costume party or just hang out with other kids or they may just stay in the cemetery and help in the cleaning of the cemetery.

어릴때 영어학원에서 엄마들에게 미리 양해를 구해놓고
직접 "trick or treat" 하러 갔었는데요
정말정말 잊을수가 없어요^^
그 때 호박쓰고 돌아다니던 남자애는 어떻게 지내는지 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
(혼자 회상에 잠겼ㅋㅋㅋ)
Anyway, it's so sad that the occasion is limited to children!!
I'll join them when I go abroad!!
I want... pumpkin costume kkkkkkkkk
